Community

Our business does not operate in isolation; we form part of a wider community which includes local residents, businesses, community groups, the local authority and all those who work and shop in the area. As a major land owner and developer we recognise our responsibility to play an active role in issues impacting our community.

We have a long-standing commitment to stakeholders in the local community as well as those stakeholders outside the immediate bounds of the Estate. Cadogan has a significant history of working to enhance our community, supporting local charities and community projects, and lending our weight and influence in support of relevant community issues and concerns.

Over the years the Cadogan family have also donated land and buildings around Chelsea for charitable and community purposes including schools, social housing and churches. We are committed to maintaining our position as a business which contributes positively and have made the following formal commitments to our community stakeholders;

Community Commitments

  1. To actively engage with local communities whenever works are being carried out that will impact them, taking their opinions into consideration wherever possible
  2. To continue to engage actively with neighbourhood forums and residents associations to ensure that we positively contribute to, and are able to act on, their feedback wherever possible
  3. To continue Cadogan's long-established practice of providing resources to local charitable organisations to positively contribute to our wider community
  4. To continue to strive to make the estate a great place to work, shop and live through funding relevant activities which benefit the community
